Welcome to naturally spanish!!

Let me tell you a bit about myself and my teaching philosophy.

My name is Belén Navarrete. I am a Native Spanish Teacher, Montessori Expert and creator of Naturally Spanish. 

I have been teaching Spanish and English for over 11 years, both to children and adults... I have coordinated school camps and environmental education projects.
I was born in Madrid in the early 80's but I was bitten by the travel bug when I was twenty.

I have had a very dynamic life. I have lived in seven different countries: Ireland, Norway, Thailand, Cuba, Nicaragua, México & Spain. And I've also travelled a lot.

Like you, I am a language student too.  I love learning new languages and finding out about different cultures. 
I speak three languages, which is always useful to understand each other in the lessons.

One of the best experiences  I have had was living in Yucatan (México) where I could enjoy the Mayan culture and the Caribean Sea, and where I studied in deep the Montessori Method and got the international certification in the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).

It was an unforgettable experience! 

As a Montessori guide and language teacher, it has been a challenge to apply the method to foreign language teaching. 
It really works with my students!!
